Mr. Cook's English II Honors classes conducted their first Heritage day. 1A had theirs on March 4 in the ?Cafe. 3B's Heritage day was March 5 in the Learning Commons. The students researched countries in Africa, like Chad, Egypt and Zimbabwe, and made power points or posters with facts about their country. Some of these facts were what their religion was, the ratio of men to women, who was in power, and what their leaders are doing to help or harm the people. One of the groups went above and beyond what was expected of them for their Heritage day. They had foods, drinks and hand made bracelets from their countries.
