Five Feet From Perfect
Five Feet Apart came out on March 15, 2019. For those that don’t know, the movie is about two CFS (cystic fibrosis) patients who fall in love. They are not allowed to touch or be within six feet of each other due to CFS.The movie itself takes place mostly in a hospital where an OCD girl named Stella, played by Haley Lu Richardson falls in love with patient bad-boy Will played by Cole Sprouse. The viewer takes a journey with the two as they rondevue outside of the hospital on a ‘date’ of sorts.
Now, for my personal opinion of the movie. Honestly, I was expecting more. The movie is a very original idea and I appreciate any producer that isn't redoing a movie from the 80’s at the moment but it was very undeveloped. The movie gave a lot of backstory and after the climax ended very abruptly. Without giving away the end,it was very anticlimactic and not how the viewer would expect it to end. I liked the movie but was expecting more closure. While it is based on a book written by Mikki Daughtry, Rachael Lippincott, and Tobias Iaconis there is no sequel in sight so viewers will have to stay unsettled by the ending.
