Unpopular Opinions at GMC
GMC is a school with a lot of different viewpoints housed under one roof. Most people share the same opinions, but there are also people with differing opinions about GMC. Here are some of the unpopular opinions here at Greer Middle College Charter High School.
One unpopular opinion around GMC is that the walk to the college is the best part of anyone’s day! Have you ever walked to the college? Or seen anybody walking back to the college? Have you noticed the big, bright smiles on their faces? Well, you should have! The walk to the college is said to be the best part of anyone’s day. A student who wishes to remain anonymous states that, “The best time to wear a striped sweater is on the way to the college!”
Our second unpopular opinion at GMC is that the patio is a great spot to have a nice lunch. Now this introduction may seem sarcastic, but there is some truth to it. On nice days, it is enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy lunch. But the weather here is never nice, so good days to sit outside and eat lunch are hard to come by. Sitting outside in the 40 degree cold is not my idea of fun. But in those few in between days, where the weather is not too hot or too cold, and those days are hard to come by, but very appreciated.
Our third, and final, unpopular opinion at GMC is that the dress code is actually beneficial to us as students. Personally wearing knee length khaki shorts really makes it easier to study and do my best as a student. I personally enjoy wearing the shade of Blazer blue that gets my brain working. Any other shade of blue makes it impossible to work and get my work done correctly. The dress code is the best thing that could have been done.
This concludes the unpopular opinion section of the GMC Newspaper. I hope some of these struck some sort of emotion in you. Also none of these are serious, all light-hearted.
