Ms. Sho is one of our English teachers here at GMC. Most students only have her for one year and don't get to know her. Here is a little bit about her.
"'I have known I wanted to become a teacher since my freshman year of high school. I was so fortunate to have some amazing high school English teachers, and they inspired me to give back to others in the same way that they helped me through those years. I love to read and write, and I think young people are pretty cool, so it seems to be a good match.""
"'I've only ever officially taught at GMC, and I really can't believe I'm in my tenth year here! It's a special place, and I'm glad to have been able to grow and learn so much while teaching here. The students are incredible; I love looking out at the classroom and seeing engaged and motivated young people. I also love my colleagues. The teachers here are among the most passionate people I've ever met, and they work so hard every day to make school productive and enjoyable for students."'
"'I've taught most of the English core courses and electives, but I currently teach English I, English II Honors, and Student Ambassadors. "'
"'Outside of school, I love to travel, read, play and watch sports, and spend time with friends and family. I'm a foster mom, so sometimes I have a little friend along for the ride. I'm beginning my second Master's program in August, and I'm really excited about that. The degree is in Instructional Design and Learning Technology, and since I love both creating curriculum and experimenting with technology, I'm hopeful that it will be a beneficial learning experience."'
